What's an IMP?

IMP stands for Isometric MaP. IMPBuilder is a web-based development environment for Gameboy roleplaying games.

The purpose of the project is to experiment with using web-based applications to build games without coding, enabling some interesting possibilities for homebrew RPGs within shared worlds.

We are currently implementing our first real demo.

Once that is done and the engine is stable, the hope is to open up the site to other game designers. If you are interested in contributing ideas, please contact us.

How Does it Work?

Here's a graphic showing how the engine displays things inside the gameboy...
